The key turned twice.
Behind the unnumbered door was a room no larger than a closet. Its walls were covered in green tile. A single lantern hung from a hook in the ceiling, burning without flame.
Rain fell inside the room.
Not from the ceiling. The droplets appeared halfway down and continued to the floor, where they vanished before forming puddles.
