Founding / emergence of The Club
AEU preserves a source conflict: the Philip Pavia archival finding aid dates the founding to 1948, while Leo Castelli later recalled the Club starting at the end of 1949. The event therefore uses a 1948–1949 evidence range rather than false precision.
