Collection data stays in this browser unless you export it.

Complete flow

  1. Add an item with a name and optional category/location/note.
  2. Classify it as Owned or Wishlist and optionally mark it as a favorite.
  3. Search or filter the collection and change item status as the collection evolves.
  4. Export a portable JSON copy, import a compatible copy, or reset with a recoverable pre-reset snapshot.

Local state + portability

Collection data stays in this browser unless the visitor explicitly exports a JSON file. ICU does not receive or sync the inventory.

State schema 2 accepts deterministic migration from schema 1. Unknown future state is never overwritten automatically.

Privacy and recovery boundary

No collection inventory is uploaded to ICU. Before reset or compatible import, the current local state is copied to a recovery slot. A future/incompatible state is left untouched until you explicitly reset or recover.
