External merchant pathsResearch/referral is not the sale.
Ordinary and future affiliate links can point to an outside merchant. ICU must identify that the destination is external. Price, inventory, checkout, returns and delivery are controlled by that merchant unless ICU later becomes the seller in a separate direct-sale path.
Future direct salesIf ICU sells it, ICU owns the customer promise.
A fulfiller or supplier may perform production or shipping, but ICU cannot use an upstream provider policy to silently narrow a customer-facing obligation. Direct-sale policy must be published for the exact product class and channel before checkout activates.
Returns & refundsNo invented 30-day policy.
There is no active direct-sale return policy today. A future policy must specify eligibility, timing, refund method, shipping responsibility, damaged/defective handling, cancellation rules and the actual support path. Provider reimbursement rules are operational inputs, not automatically ICU customer policy.
Delivery & fulfillmentProcessing time is not transit time.
Future physical estimates must distinguish processing from carrier transit and come from an active source. Digital products cannot promise instant access until entitlement and protected delivery actually work. No shipping quote or delivery estimate is active now.
SupportNo fake contact desk.
Order support does not activate until a real monitored destination, order lookup path, privacy handling and refund/replacement authority exist. Customer emails, addresses, payment data and private support cases must never be published in public site data.
Dark-pattern firewallThe action must mean what it says.
Fake countdowns, fake scarcity, preselected paid add-ons, hidden recurring charges, obscured seller identity and silent destination changes are prohibited by the commerce contract.
