Synthetic narration
The released Three Small Moons narration is generated locally with eSpeak 1.48.15 from ICU-owned original text. It is labeled synthetic; no human voice performer or voice likeness is represented.
Device narration
Eligible reading pages can ask the visitor’s browser or operating system to synthesize speech after a button press. ICU does not bundle, choose, upload, or distribute those device voices, and no audio release file is implied.
Music, effects & samples
Threshold Weather uses only deterministic tones and noise generated for O025. No external music, field recording, sound effect, or sample is included. Future third-party audio must carry reviewed permission/license evidence before publication.
Accessibility
Speech has a verbatim transcript. Non-speech audio has a written sound description. Player pages never autoplay and document keyboard controls.
