How Autumn Universe handles seasonal claims

The current sourced collection includes examples from the United States, Tasmania and Japan across Northern and Southern Hemisphere contexts. Autumn Universe is designed for wider geographic diversity, but this collection is not globally representative and does not yet include validated low-latitude or equatorial examples.

No location is required for core reading. Autumn Universe creates no persistent location profile and does not request precise browser location on page load.

Observed: A direct observation or measurement tied to a defined place/time. It may support current wording only while its freshness and scope remain adequate.
Forecast: A forward-looking estimate from a source or model. It must remain labeled as forecast and cannot be rewritten as an observation.
Historical typical: A recurring or historical pattern useful for planning. It never proves what is happening now.
Modeled / inferred: A derived estimate. Autumn Universe must expose the inference posture and cannot silently upgrade it to observed state.
Editorial context: Human explanatory context. It can help interpretation but cannot computationally determine Autumn State Engine output.

Source verification date, evidence capture date and seasonal-signal freshness are separate concepts.

Strong sources that materially disagree remain visibly unresolved until scope, time or methodology explains the difference.
