Does the image silently assume June–August summer?
Inspect / representation choices
Summer is often communicated through compressed visual shorthand. This gallery makes the shorthand inspectable instead of treating it as neutral truth.
Strong overhead light, washed highlights and reflective surfaces can suggest heat or midsummer intensity. The cue is not universal and may imply a particular hour and climate.
Deep shade next to bright foliage can communicate the felt contrast of summer without showing a thermometer.
Long evenings are a strong mid- and high-latitude cue, but much less distinctive close to the equator.

Blue, gold and leaf green are common symbolic choices, but palette alone says more about convention than about atmospheric physics.
