Icons identify calculators; formulas, units, assumptions, and limitations remain authoritative.
Generation D · BEU018
Brew Lab
Transparent brewing calculations with formulas, units, assumptions, validation, and result boundaries visible before convenience.
Educational / planning instruments
No account state required
No automatic result URLs
Boundary: These tools do not replace calibrated measurement, process engineering, package pressure ratings, regulatory testing, or jurisdiction-specific brewing requirements.
Calculators I + II
Ten instruments, one methodology rule
10 published calculator contracts expose 15 formulas. Every tool works without account state and creates zero automatic input-result routes.
Convert bicarbonate mg/L to alkalinity as CaCO3 mg/L and back using the equivalent-weight relationship.
1 visible formula · account state not required · calculator input states create no indexable routes

Dimensions are checked before arithmetic
Volume, mass, temperature, gravity, and count are explicit dimensions. A request such as kilograms → liters is rejected rather than silently guessed from an assumed density.
Volume converts through liters.
Mass converts through grams.
Temperature converts explicitly between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Specific gravity and gravity points share a defined Beer measurement representation.
Count never converts to mass or volume.

Calculator states are not content pages
Inputs, results, query strings, presets, and saved calculation states remain application state. BEU016's zero combinatorial-route budget stays intact.
These links come from ICU's bounded public recommendation graph. Beer evidence, historical uncertainty, jurisdiction, sensory interpretation and responsible-participation boundaries remain intact.
