Orientation

Space is not one picture.

This universe treats “Outerspace” as a nested set of structures and observation problems. The release moves from a planetary scale anchor through systems, stars, nebulae, galaxies and large-scale structure, while separating documentary observation from reconstruction and visualization.

Newly authored expansion

Source boundary

The canonical VIS-0005 record supplied the exact title Outerspace, theme tags, format tag and source-family placement, but no description. This release does not pretend a missing synopsis existed. The information architecture and explanatory thesis here are new editorial work grounded in that preserved source identity.

The rings at left are an authored orientation diagram, not a scale-accurate scientific figure.

Evidence boundary

Claim type travels with the claim.

Factual claims point to reviewed institutional sources. Editorial synthesis is labeled. Interactive controls explain when they are teaching models rather than measurements.

Verified / sourced

Scientific fact

A statement directly supported by a reviewed source in this release.

Editorial synthesis

Interpretation

A connection, sequence or design choice authored by ICU. It can organize evidence but does not become evidence by being useful.

Teaching model

Prototype interaction

A deterministic interface for learning. It does not simulate orbital mechanics, telescope hardware or astrophysical evolution unless explicitly stated.
